This paid internship opportunity with Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation will support the Finance and Accounting team. We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented college student (accounting or finance major) who wants to apply their skills and knowledge to learn in a real-world nonprofit setting. This internship will assist with a wide-range of duties focused on daily accounting and finance operations. The Marketing Communications Internship at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation is designed to support a highly productive, non-profit marketing communications department. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications, the intern will learn important skills related to marketing communications strategy and execution —from building strategic briefs, to coordinating tactical plans and executing projects. Assignments may include content creation and editing, project coordination, digital communications, supporting content organization, photo/video assets, and event and media relations support. All Foundation Team Members will represent our Core Values; Integrity, Mission-Driven, Donors First, Accountability, Leadership and Expertise.
The Director of Philanthropy is a field staff team member of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation who will actively identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major and principal gifts to benefit the Children’s Hospital Colorado. The Director will plan strategies and implement practices that nurture existing and prospective donors capable of giving at the major or principal gift level, whether through a current gift, multi-year pledge, planned or deferred gift or some combination thereof. Philanthropy Director may opportunistically cultivate relationships with corporations or other non-individual current or prospective donors in support of the Foundation’s overall goals, such as through special events. Must be strong contributor to a team environment. Ability to travel within Children’s Hospital Colorado’s multi-state service area as well as nationally is required. Provide leadership though actions and work throughout the Foundation. Serve as a role model and mentor for other Foundation fundraisers, particularly regarding relationship building and donor cultivation strategies and activities.
