Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Children's Hospital Colorado is consistently ranked among the top 10 best pediatric hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant programs in the country.

As the only dedicated pediatric cancer center in the Rocky Mountain region, the CCBD provides state-of-the-art diagnosis and clinical care by a multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical and nursing experts, including national and international leaders in bone marrow transplant, experimental therapeutics, hematology, neuro-oncology and oncology.

In addition, we have the region’s only Bone Marrow Transplant Program. Our accredited program is consistently recognized through a national peer review for high-quality patient care and laboratory performance. Children’s Colorado post-bone marrow transplant survival rates are among the highest in the country.

Many of the treatments and technologies the CCBD offers are designed exclusively for pediatric use and tailored to make kids and families as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible. The CCBD also offers a wellness program to support the psychosocial needs of patients and their families. Above all, the CCBD team is committed to providing personalized, kid-friendly care in a nurturing environment.
