You are invited to join us for the 15th annual Climbing for Kids in support of the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Climbing for Kids is socially distancing this year!
There are two ways to participate in the 2020 climb:
In-Person Climbing for Kids
Pending any changes to Colorado’s COVID-19 health and safety recommendations, join us for a “social distancing climb” of Mt. Bierstadt at 6 a.m. on Aug. 28. We’re limiting the number of climbers this year to 50, but this number may change. Please indicate your interest in joining us in-person when you register online.
Virtual Climbing for Kids
You can participate virtually during the month of August by defining your own version of climbing a mountain! Drive your donations supporting PMHI by completing your own climb, or any kind of physical activity, that you’d like to do. For example:
- Walk 7 miles, the round-trip distance of Mt. Bierstadt
- Climb 280 flights of stairs the rough equivalent of Mt. Bierstadt’s elevation gain
- Or any activity that represents the bigger mountain that so many of Colorado’s kids have to climb it’s up to you!
Register to climb or participate virtually to help kids and teens across Colorado.
