2016 Medical Staff Giving Campaign

Give today

Please make a gift online by Oct. 31 to support kids today and in the future.

Gifts of any size count and they can be designated to the area you value most at Children's Colorado. Our goal this year is to inspire more than 494 medical staff members to make a donation by the Oct. 31 deadline.

Medical Staff Giving

In 2015, Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation publicly launched Courage Is…The Campaign to Transform Children’s Health to support the hospital’s strategic priorities as outlined in Reimagine 2020. To date, more than $250 million has been raised towards the $400 million fundraising goal.

The Medical Staff Campaign Council was created to encourage participation from our medical staff members during the Campaign to philanthropically support the important work that you and your colleagues do for children from Colorado, our region and beyond.

Why give?

Every gift to Children’s Colorado makes a difference! Donations benefit our bottom line and everything the hospital is able to do to support our caregivers, research, educational initiatives, and patient care - particularly during times of reduced financial state and federal support, decreased funding from the NIH and increased competition with other healthcare providers.

Donors who make gifts totaling $1,000 or more in a calendar year qualify for one of the Foundation’s giving societies and may be recognized on the Foundation’s website.

A gift also sends a very strong message to our community, especially other donors and foundations, that you believe enough in the work you do to make a personal investment in it.

“It’s more important than ever to make a gift to Children’s Hospital Colorado,” said Medical Staff Campaign Council co-chair and Chief Physician Transformation Officer, Dr. Joan Bothner.

“As a nonprofit hospital, it’s important that our teams have a culture of philanthropy,” said Dr. Steve Daniels, Campaign co-chair and Pediatrician-in-Chief.  “Our institution cannot make it financially without philanthropic support, and that’s something that needs to come from within as well as from our community.”

Dr. Tim Cromblehome shares that “It’s wonderful to see the belief and appreciation that the community has for our institution as demonstrated through their charitable donations.  They understand the important role Children’s Colorado plays in this region for kids near and far and the world-class care that is available to their families.”
